You can also request the addition of new games, platforms, or accessories into the database. Notably, the premium version of the app provides additional features such as adding photos of your collection and barcode scanning for quicker game additions, utilizing a database containing 31,000 barcodes. Premium users can also save collections and wishlists locally for offline access.

You can manage your friends within the MyGameDB community to see their latest additions, trophies, and photos. The app facilitates private messaging for exchanges and sales, making it easier to connect with other users. Additionally, the app's web version allows you to search for games linked to your Steam, PSN, and Xbox accounts.

To make the most of MyGameDB, an account and an active internet connection are required to access your collection online, though you can export your collection before going offline.
